MergeArts New York City, is an organization that provides a platform for artists to connect & to showcase their work. MergeArts hosts monthly events that combine Fashion, Music & Art, into a single show. They also have bi-monthly seminars for artists, which are designed to educate creatives as small business owners and to connect them with industry professionals.

After leaving work drained on Thursday, I never would of guessed that my evening at the showcase, would result in me being so artistically inspired. The amount of creativity in the room was unreal, and the way that everything flowed during the show was seamless.

I thought the showcase was solely for visual artists, so I was shocked to see live performances. Even more shocking was that the acts were good … Like really good. I’ll feature them in another post, but 2 standout acts were Raycee Jones and Lovers of Tomorrow.

Such a great event! I connected with so many cool people, and I even got to connect with a handful of the artists. Can’t wait for the next one.
